Angelina Mariani Costantino, the matriarch of the Costantino family, grew up in San Pietro Avellano, a quaint village in the Molise Region of Italy. Life was simple for her and her large family in that small community during those days. They often enjoyed meals of spaghetti or gnocchi, generously covered with flavorful pasta sauce, alongside a radicchio salad and some red wine, which Angelina herself typically didn’t care for. The family would linger over dinner, cherishing each other's company and the delicious food.
Christopher Costantino has dedicated himself to bringing this cherished culinary experience to American families. In 2011, he established Costantino's Kitchen, where they produce gourmet, home-style pasta sauces and other Italian specialty foods based on fifth-generation family recipes. Christopher continues to honor his grandmother's legacy by using the freshest ingredients and slow-cooking his sauces to enhance flavor.
In 2016, Christopher and his team took the next logical step in the evolution of their successful gourmet Italian food business by launching their mobile restaurant, Costantino's Italian Kitchen. They serve authentic pasta dishes featuring their sauces and a selection of other Italian favorites. Their goal is to make some great food, share it with friends and have fun!
