They feature regional favorites from all over the country such as the Chicago dog, the New York City style with those one of a kind push cart onions, Sonoran dogs, big Texas chili dogs and Detroit coneys, an Aloha dog with crushed pineapple and sweet Hawaiian mustard, barbecue hot links and a buffalo dog that is out of this world. This The Dogfather food truck in Phoenix also got Wisconsin style bratwurst and fat Polish sausages with sauerkraut.
Chef Kris Gonzalez holds a culinary degree from Scottsdale culinary institute, and his love of street food inspired him to open The Dog Father. A favorite childhood memory growing up in New York City was stopping on the corner at one of the many hot dog carts throughout the city.
