The Outside Scoop, an ice cream dessert food truck in Phoenix, started in 2010 in Indianola, Iowa, and has since grown from a small-batch, from-scratch ice cream company into a brick-and-mortar shops in Iowa and a mobile ice cream truck fleet now serving Arizona. They specialize in handcrafted scoops and ice cream sandwiches made in small batches with bold, creative flavors.

They offer something for everyone, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options. Some of our top sellers include White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Oreo Cookie Dough, and Half Baked Monster Cookie, along with unique flavors like Goat Cheese and Roasted Cherries.

Nick and Sara are passionate entrepreneurs and business owners who have successfully owned and managed multiple ventures. In 2025, they brought The Outside Scoop Arizona to Arizona after connecting with the brand’s strong values, family-focused atmosphere, and high-quality product. Together with Drew Moritz and Kali Beaman, who support the business’s growth and day-to-day success, they are focused on building memorable experiences and growing the brand throughout Arizona.
